Letter of Upmost Importance!
To Lord Void – Our honorable Grand Marshal
I beckon you, please here my words. It was early morn, and I was kneading yeast into my dough to allow it to proof for later in the evening. I was going to make…oh never mind that…I must tell you of my frightful experience. While I was kneading my dough, I started humming to myself, like I normally do when all is quiet, but then it wasn’t quiet. Not quiet at all. It started as a whisper. “Blood”, I think it said! But it was ever so slight. I turned to listen for a moment but heard nothing more. So, I started kneading again and I heard her again…Nay, I felt her say something...I shutter at the thought…She said, “Murder”. Unmistakable this time. I swiftly turned to see what had spoken into me so dreadfully, but nothing was there. I then took a few steps towards my living quarters, and she spoke again, “Blood, all the Blood”. I could feel her words and those words curdled my blood. I was struck stiff with fright. How could she not be in the same room as me. She must be at the door. I picked up a mason hammer that was laying on a table and started towards the door. Please, do not think poorly of me, Lord Void. I would not commonly grab a weapon to meet a lady at my door, but I do not think this to be a lady. As I reached to open the door she spoke again, “Blood, Murder”. I drew back my hammer ready to strike as I threw open the door, but nothing was there. Not even a wisp of air. I walked outside but saw nothing. This is not possible, Lord Void. Something had spoken through my bones and into my soul this day. Trolls drag me to Hades if I’m lying. I beg you, please, something must be done!
